Bone Density (DXA) & TBS

A more complete assessment of bone health.

Bone density testing with dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) helps identify low bone density, diagnose osteoporosis and evaluate fracture risk. Trabecular Bone Score (TBS) provides additional information about bone microarchitecture to complement DXA results and help guide prevention and treatment decisions. Contact our office to discuss testing and scheduling.

Advanced Cardiac Imaging & Stress Testing

Detailed insight into your heart’s structure, function and blood flow.

Our cardiac diagnostic services include nuclear cardiac imaging, stress testing and echocardiograms to help evaluate symptoms, identify heart disease and guide treatment.

  • Nuclear cardiac imaging: Evaluates blood flow to the heart muscle at rest and under stress, helping identify areas with reduced blood supply.
  • Cardiac stress testing: Assesses how your heart responds to exercise or medication-induced stress to help investigate symptoms and evaluate possible coronary artery disease.
  • Echocardiograms: Use ultrasound to examine the heart’s chambers, valves, pumping function and blood flow.

Diagnostic & Vascular Ultrasound

Detailed imaging without ionizing radiation.

Ultrasound uses sound waves to evaluate internal organs, soft tissues and blood vessels. Examinations may include the abdomen, liver, gallbladder, kidneys, bladder, thyroid and pelvic structures. Vascular ultrasound evaluates blood flow in arteries and veins, including the carotid arteries and vessels in the arms and legs, to help identify narrowing, circulation problems or blood clots. Your provider will determine the appropriate examination and any necessary preparation. Contact our office to confirm which examinations are available.

EECP Therapy

A noninvasive option for persistent angina.

Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) is an outpatient treatment that may help selected patients with chronic stable angina who continue to experience symptoms despite standard treatment. During each session, cuffs around the legs inflate and deflate in rhythm with the heartbeat to support blood flow to the heart. Treatment is delivered over a series of sessions, and your cardiologist will determine whether EECP is appropriate for you.
